Used Youtube to look for a set of repair instructions. From start to end 35 min.
The difficult part was getting the door back on. Only 1 Youtube video I watched stated Do not remove the 2 center screws at the top. Wish I had seen that video first.
Overall very easy to do.

The spider repair and the tub seal replacement are fairly complicated, and time-consuming, but manageable with patience. I viewed the youtube video that showed the process, which gave me confidence. ridiculously easy. removed the door gasket ring clamp. separated the gasket from the face. unscrewed the lock, removed the wire(gently). replaced the wire on the new lock. replaced the lock. replaced door gasket and ring clamp. washed clothes. Note- I had called a repair service and was given a $360 estimate in addition to the $130 dollar

Door lock was unable to disengage - couldn't open washer door after cycle. Would cycle constantly through three clicks and be unable to open the door. Eventually had to unplug to get it to stop clicking constantly, and after some careful prying, able to release the door to access the screws we'd n

Watched the easy video instructions on the product page and did the same on our machine - pop off the top, unscrew the plate from the front of the door inset. Its a little challenging to unplug the old lock assembly because it is a tight fit and not enough room for two hands to fit to provide a bit more leverage when pulling the power li
... Read morenes out, but once its out it is easy to install the new one and reattach the strike plate frame and top of the washer. Plugged back in and we were back in business. This $50 part ended up saving us at least $300 in repair fees to get it working again.

To fix the problem, I simply removed the top cover of the washing machine by removing the two screws on the back of the machine which allowed me to slide the top back and then I lifted it off. Read more the washer (They are approx 2" in from either side on the front of the washer on my model) I chose to replace both the hot and cold assemblies - I figured it was the cold which had failed (the more expensive one) but as I had it apart it made sense to do them both. It fixed the problem. Been two months now - There have been no repeat floods - its all good! Shipment of parts was fast, and parts were correct for the washer. I estimate it saved me at least $200 in technician fees by doing it myself. Thanks guys!
Followed instruction from you tube. Removed gasket holder, then gasket by door switch assembly then replaced with new assembly! I am a 63 woman and found this easy to do, with help from you tube guy.
