It was very easy to remove the broken parts of the freezer door handle still secured by screws and then attach the new handle. Read more e was still intact, though is yellowed with age, so was able to snap that in place on the new partial-handle replacement which you sent. It seems to me that to omit this portion as part of the complete handle replacement didn't make much sense, as it rendered the new replacement handle incomplete.

I unplugged electrical cord to the freezer. I removed the cover to the relay and load protector. I labeled the wires and made a diagram on the proper placement of each wire going to the relay. My freezer started working again. I placed several bottles of water in the freezer to make sure the freezer was working properly before I restocked it with food.

First removed the remaining end cap; then inserted rod into RH and LH replacement caps and snapped end caps into place.

The repair was really easy - I used a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws and broken pieces of the handle, screwed the new one on and snapped the handle insert into place. Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

I ordered the handle , which was easy and resonable priced.
I used a cordless screw driver . And it was done in under 30 seconds . Quick repair

Old handle was off already. Took the to screws from old handle, put the new one on screwed it on and that did it.

By simply popping off the handle cover the two screws were revealed which attach the handle to the door. New handle fit exactly like the old one. Easy peezzy lemon squeezy.

Removed pcs. of old handle, replaced new handle, installed handle trim strip. Took less than 5 min. Thanks

Could not be easier and I think it took me longer to open the packaging than it did to install. Remove the insert from the face of the old handle and remove the two screws (top & bottom) beneath the insert & discard broken handle (retain original screws). Put original screws through new handle, place in position and drive the screws in. ... Read more Then snap in the insert panel. (My insert was old & brittle and did crack upon removal, but I had anticipated that and ordered a new insert as well.) Took 5 minutes....but I'm pretty handy and it might take someone else 6 minutes.

Ordered the replacement handle and insert. I replaced the handle in about 10 minutes.

I was surprised that the screws and trim piece were not included so make sure you have them from the old handle or order new. First removed the broken ends still on the freezer. I removed the small metal brackets from the old handle and put them on the new one, screwed the handle to the freezer and put the trim piece on. Real easy.

We removed the trim and the screws and kept them in a safe place until the handle arrived. It took only about 10 minutes start to finish. Very Easy!
