I had already replaced the 4 burner tubes and carry over tubes recently and figured the combination valve/hose/regulator must be the problem. ... Read more behind the main control panel I had to dismantle the shelf from the firebox by removing several screws on each side to enable me to pull out the metal tube . This was a little difficult due to rusty screws. Installation was the reverse of removal. I tested it out afterwards and the grill was easy to light and the flame was blue and at the proper height and warmed up fast.
