Lawn Mower Locknut Flange
Part #704067
This centerlock nut, also known as a flange nut or hex nut flange is a manufacturer approved replacement part. It is 5/8 of an inch with 18 threads per inch. The nut is designed to secure the bolt or screw it is positioned on and prevent it from loosening during use. It has a series of ridges on the inside that allow it to grip the threads of the bolt or screw and a flange at its base to provide a larger surface area to clamp on. Over time the lock nut may break or become stripped. Inspect all the centerlock nuts on your equipment as you may need to order more than one for your repair. To install a new nut, use your hands to thread it on and use a pair of pliers or a wrench to tighten it until it is securely held. Be careful not to overtighten the nut as this can deform the nut and wear down the threads that keep it secure. If you experience difficulties removing or tightening the nuts, use a centerlock nut tool or a cassette lockring tool instead. Note that this nut is sold individually.

Ftg-lube .25-28x.256 Ywzc
Part #07012600
This OEM part is a zerk fitting that is sometimes called a grease fitting, lube fitting, grease zerk, or Alemite fitting. It is a metal nipple that you connect a grease gun to, allowing you to lubricate the moving parts in your lawn equipment, usually on joints or bearings. This fitting is 1/4 inch wide, has 28 threads per inch, and a threaded portion that is .256 inches long. If the fitting is broken, you may notice that your machine is moving sluggishly, or the fitting may appear cracked or clogged with debris. It is important to replace a damaged fitting right away, because if you do not, debris can prevent the fitting from accepting grease and the moving parts of your machine will wear out faster and eventually break down completely. To replace the fitting, you will need to use a wrench to remove it from your machine. Keep in mind that this replacement part is sold separately, so you may want to consider stocking up on fittings before you need them. Since the fittings on your machine wear out at the same rate, having a few extra on hand can save you time and hassle down the road.
