The repair is somewhat self-explanatory. The old/broken rail which was broken needed to be unscrewed in front and rear, and the new one simply inserted and screwed in. Simple installation. Took out the vegetable bins, the glass and the shelf rack. Replaced the left side and the center glide. Worked easily.

Took the old frame apart - two screws - replaced broken side rail and put frame back in frig. replaced glass shelf and bins. Frig good as new. 15 minutes. Pretty good for and 81 year old lady.

removed the inside fridge electrical panel and swapped switches

I started removing the switch by prying on the right side with a screwdriver, when it emerged enough I used pliers to finish removing it. I then unpluged rhe wires from the bad switch and pluged them on the new switch and "poped" it into the hole.

Gently pry out switch in door jam with screwdriver and pull both connectors off and put connectors on new switch then push switch back into the hole. Looked it up on the internet and video showed how to and also had link to new part, ordered and less than a week later the fridge is bright again. I have an older freezer also and it seems ... Ordered a new one and watched a YouTube video on how to do it. Really didn't need it, but it was a nice touch by Part Select because it made the repair go faster than it would had I not seen the video. All it took was one screwdriver, which is what the video said, and a little aligning of the side rail with the from piece. Screwed it toge ... Read more ther (2 screws) and that was it .

pull the front cover off, take the two screws out and the side rail comes right off, put the new one in place, put the screws back in and bang!.....all done. Took longer to take the stuff out of the fridge than to make this repair.

As instructed actually my wife ordered the parts and
Installed herself. Positive experience.

Connected the 2 wires and pushed in the switch until it clicked.

easy pry out, disconnect wiring, connect on new switch and press in switch.
