363147 Kenmore Dishwasher - Instructions

Had to pull the dishwasher from under the counter to access the water inlet valve. Disconnected the hoses from the inlet assembly. Removed the inlet assembly from the dishwasher frame. Installed the new assembly and reconnected the hoses. Plugged the dishwasher in, selected a cycle to run to check for leaks.

Removed screws on the drain pump filter screens at the back of the dishwasher, unscrewed the check valve, screwed in the replacement unit, and re-affixed the filter screens.

Read more nit and disassembled everything before noticing that the rubber washer/stopper at the top of the check valve had erroded away and was not preventing water from pumping back into the cabinet when the drain pump kicked on. Always check the condition of this check valve first if you dishwasher is not draining properly. It was so easy once I found the bad part.

Once realized needed to open the wheel rail a little to remove wheel stop, it wasn't too difficult. Took about 20 minutes. Part came in a couple of days and was the correct part. My husband said it was easy. But the gasket didn't solve the problem. So we had to order another part. We had to order the little black stoppers that go in the hinge area. Still leaked so my husband took them back out and cleaned the area. Then put some kind of sealant in and replaced the black robber things. So far that worked.

The dishwasher was in a rental so I didn't want to spend the money for a new one. The part was expensive compared to a new (cheap) dishwasher. The order was shipped promptly and arrived when I expected even though it was Christmas time. The part fit perfectly and everything is back in place.

We ordered the pump kit by model number and it was a perfect match.(It was on our door step in 2 days with normal shipping!) I took the inside of door off to install both gasket and gasket insert. Much easier this way. Also it’s much easier to fish locking handle through the door if you extend the handle half way and put through opening when raising the door.

I watched the convenient video and saved an old machine that I've grown to love. Plus I didn't have to pay a repair service or have to buy a new machine.

Order the part through you guys and also ask to see if there could be something else wrong. I got an e-mail back the first buisiness day and you sent me the part that day also. I installed the coil and it's be running good ever since. Thanks for your speedy service and technical support.

I used the pump/motor replacement kit. It was a very easy repair and the parts were a direct replacement with no modification necessary. I saved over $300.

Took screws out of door panel to get to the latch and replaced old latch with new one. Super easy

I took the inside door off as shown in the gasket insert video and it made much easier to clean and insert the door gasket.

Took end caps off roller guides. Slid old out...slid new in...poped end caps back on...done. Too EASY!
