This was a real easy repair. The key is to remove the door (by lifting straight up) and remove the bottom drawer. Then take all the trays out of the oven, using a screw driver remove the bottom pan that hides the burner and igniter. From underneath the oven (ie drawer space) use a screw driver to disconnect two screws that hold the bur ... Read more ner assembly against the back wall of the oven. Then remove the one screw from inside the oven that holds the burner assembly (its close to the door area). Unplug the two igniter wires from underneath the oven and then lift out the entire burner assembly. Take off the two screws that hold the old igniter to the burner and replace with new igniter. Make sure you mark the wires when you remove them because you need the connectors on the end for the new wire. Then give yourself plenty of wire, cut the old wire off the old igniter and using the provided wire ties join them to the new igniter wires and reconnect everything. Sounds complicated but it took me about 20 minutes and its really an easy repair. Good luck.

1st ensure thermostat is intact, I thought it was broken but upon further investigation I noticed that one of the screws that hold the thermostat in place had came loose which cause the thermostat knob not to be able to turn the thermostat stem. Re-installed thermostat mounting screw and it worked just fine.

I was a bit hesitant to perform this repair but attempted it due to the other write-ups which were very helpful. The repair went very well and was quite easy. There was a suggestion to remove the gas defuser (the pipe thing that has the igniter attached), I believe loosening this defuser made the whole repair so much easer and quicker. Tr ... Read more ying to remove the two screws that hold the igniter without this approach would have been very difficult. I was hesitant to do this but removing the 3 screws that hold the defuser in place was not a problem at all.

ordered parts, 2 double burners, 3 days later they arrived.opened box.
lift stove top, lift out old burner,placed next to new burner to see if they were the same. THEY WERE. place in new burner, checked to see if burner assembly fit correctly. IT DID.
units purchased were exact replacements. supplied spacer nuts not needed.

Replaced old with new.

I took the old ones off, cleaned the gunk under them, and put the new ones in. As an aside, when we cook, we will use the old ones. When we leave in the morning, we will put the clean, new ones on.

I removed the original gasket clips with pliers. I installed the new gasket by aligning the clips with the holes around the door and pressed into place. Easy fix!

Lifted the top and dropped in the new burners. Realized they always should have had the leveling washers provided so I took the burners off, dropped on the leveling washers and dropped the burners back on. This all took about 2 minutes. Really made the range top look a lot nicer.

Unplugged the electrical.Removed the door, removed the oven racks and removed the bottom pan. Removed the wire nuts from the two wires. Removed the burner tube. Removed the Igniter. Installed in reverse order. It was very easy however it was the third igniter that I had to replace in this range so I was used to it.

First just unscrew each natural gas jet and install the propane jets. if they are hard to come off just turn your wrench back and forth first until the jet turns with your fingers. Read more te of the oven and slide it back about 1/2 inch then lift out of the oven. Move the 1 screw covering the heat shield from the oven jet. Then light the top burners and turn them off just to get the gas flowing. Also light the pilot in the oven, then light the oven. To convert the oven from natural gas to propane all you have to do is adjust the jet while the oven is lit. turn the oven jet ubtil there is a blue flame with little or no yellow tips on the flames.

1. Removed oven door.
2. Removed shelves.
3. Removed oven bottom.
4. Removed pan drawer.
5. Removed the 2 burner mounting nuts at back of oven pan drawer opening.
6. Removed top burner nut.
7. Pulled igniter out from top.
8. Snipped igniter wires.
9. Removed igniter from burner
10. Attached new ... Read more ignitor wires with the enclosed wire nuts.
11. Attached new igniter to burner.
12. Replaced burner.
13. Pushed excess wire out of the oven through opening at back of pan drawer.
14. Reinstalled burner mounting nuts at back of drawer.
15. Reinstalled burner nut at top of burner
16. Reinstalled oven bottom, oven door and pan drawer.

To: Remove.Four(4)nuts. Six(6)screws. Two (2) clips. To:Reinstall reverse process. "Very simple stright forward, and most enjoyable."

Removed oven base plate by removing 2 screws and lifting out of oven. Pulled out bottom drawer and disconnected two wires from igniter. Removed 2 screws connecting burner to oven wall. Back to oven inside, and removed screw holding burner to oven bottom. Took burner out if oven. Removed 2 screws securing igniter to burner. Secured new ig ... Read more niter to burner. One of the initial two screws for the oven bottom would not budge. Finally used a socket set to loosen it up. Upon taking out the old bottom I turned it over & saw a heat shield attached. I have no idea if you can order a new bottom with a new shield already attached or not, but I had no idea it was there until I took the old part out. Ou ...
