31FA-8LX-ON Magic Chef Range - Instructions

Pulled the stove out, removed the sides and attatched the new springs( replaced both while the stove was out). Worked like new and put the stove back.

Purchased 2 piece broiler pan from this site

I put the 2 burner knobs on and now I have 4 working burners....Thanks for the quick delivery....

Pulled the old knob off and put the new one on. Only thing that was difficult was making sure the knob was the right one because the instructions kept leading me back to a different brand of appliance but since the photo looked alike I went ahead and got it.

Removed 7 screws on sides and one on top of stove. Replaced both springs (only one was broken but did both). Took around 15 to 30 minutes from start to finish.Fastest shipping in history during holidays without paying anything extra.

I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

Removed the aftermarket knobs I originally bought (they would slip or not turn at all) and installed the new Magic Chef knobs on stove. They work perfect! I was tired of guessing the temperature on the oven in my apartment so I decided to look on-line to see if I could find a replacement. I couldn't find the exact Model Number to the old stove so I just took the old thermostat knob out and looked for pictures on the PartSelect site that matched up. Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

I took the broiler pan out of the shipping container and put it in the oven.

Just replaced the old burner knobs with the new !!!

This was not a difficult task. I just slid the valve knob on the shaft, repair was complete. This was a very easy diy project.

After ordering 3 or 4 different knobs for replacement, I found the one I needed. I did not have the oven model number at first...now everything is working fine. No tools, just push the knob into place. Thanks!
