Nut-lock, Ni
Part #3296-51
This OEM lock nut is used in your lawn equipment to keep its parts securely fastened and prevent them from coming loose. It is often found at the end of a threaded bolt. This lock nut has a nylon insert inside and a diameter of 3/4 inches. Over time, the lock nut can wear out due to regular use. When this happens, you may hear strange knocking or rattling noises coming from your machine. You may also feel more vibrations from it than usual. If you take a close look at the nut, it might appear bent or deformed. If you do not replace a worn-out lock nut, the parts of your machine can fall off. To replace a lock nut, you need a socket wrench to loosen it from your machine. Since this lock nut is sold individually, consult your instruction manual to determine how many your machine needs. If you are replacing one lock nut, it is recommended that you replace all of them as they tend to wear out at the same time.
