Simply unscrew panel but do not remove it. Remove old gasket. Fit new gasket between panel and door. Fasten screws and no more leaks and better temperature contol. Removed old gasket, then installed new gasket. Make sure to allow new gasket to set out for a few days prior to installing to get all wrinkles out, use a heat gun after installing to make gasket shape to freezer door.

removed door and took all the screws out of the inside door rack. removed old door seal . replaced door seal and made sure that the seal fit around and door rack fit into the groove then replaced all screws and tightened choosing random sections to tighten .replaced the door plugged back in wires that I removed and replaced door hinge scr ... Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

Needed a Phillips head screwdriver to remove bottom plate (kick panel). UNPLUGGED FREEZER. Removed plate pulled switch out through the mounting hole and unhooked the two electric wires. Plac ... Read more ed wires on new switch, pushed wires back through the hole and seated the switch. Plugged in the freezer and opened the door - magic, the light came on. Replaced the front kick panel (hardest part was to line up the plate holes with the holes in the mounting bracket).

Both end caps were missing on the door side bottom metal shelf. succesfully installed no tools needed

I removed the plate (recommend using a magnetic phillips head screw driver to remmove screws which are recessed). I removed the old part and pushed the new part through the hole and carefully reached in behindto attach the wires to the new part.

Read more in the box the new gasket came in --- Took new freezer door gasket and installed it neatly around the door by tucking back part of door gasket between door panel and door --- once all was in place started tightening all screws starting at bottom holding bottom gasket material tight with other hand --- then working counter clock wise till done !!! there you go it was very easy and turned out great !!! Loosen screws, removed old gasket seal, replace with new gasket (nice to use 2 sets of hands) and re screwed. Used hairdryer to heat up and fluff out a spot that wasnt seal all the way. Pretty simplementation to do.

Unscrew all the fasteners from the door inner cover from the bottom to top to hold it in position, got rid of the old gasket.

I Cleaned all and install the new gastket into the door inner cover. then reintalled cover to the starting from the top to bottom to hold it in place.

Needed to remove both left and right broken (plastic) supports and reinsert the new parts. Not hard at all...worked like a charm!

Removed bottom cover , just two screws , slid old part through install hole and removed wires from old switch and installed on new switch. Installed new switch in same hole and pushed gently until it locked in place. Reinstalled bottom cover and done.

Removed 2 screws holding front bottom vent grille. . Through opening behind grille found broken part of switch hanging on wires. Removed wires from switch and fed them out through hole for mounting switch, connected wire and pushed into place. The greatest difficulty encountered was my 82 year old knees.

Pulled the freezer out and unscrewed the screws around door. Gasket slide right out. After placing the new gasket, I used a hair dryer and sealed the gasket tighter. Works like a charm!! Very pleased with this do-it-yourself fix.
