Followed instructions from others on the blog. Shut off water and electricity to the refrigerator. Removed the cardboard plate. Removed the old water valve. Cut the compression valves off and inserted the tubes into the new water valve. Attached the water valve bracket to the fridge. Tightened copper water supply.Turned on the water ... Read more - no leaks. Plugged the fridge in. Tried the water and ice in the door. No leaks - everything worked perfectly. THANK YOU PARTS SELECT!

removed ice maker box and disassembled crusher unit on front of box and installed new housing.

First I loosened the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...re-installed the new icemaker first attaching the wires and then fitting over the screw holders and tightened the screws. That was it!

I followed step by step instruction in the hinge kit; Replacing the old hinge with a new hinge and two new plastic cams in the kit. The kit hinge has an adjustment to level the right door with the left door. Everything is done in 20 minutes for a senior guy like me. Very easy.

Watched YouTube video. Very easy. Used my cell phone camera in ‘selfie’ mode propped up in the upper right hand corner of freezer to see the 2 hidden screws.

I replaced the water valve, but it still did not fix the problem.The old water valve I took out I'm assuming worked fine, I think the real problem is ice building up in pipe or some other blockage.

Parts select was very fast in shipping, very positive experience with them.

removed rear cover, removed screws, diconnected water line connections, cut off old water line connection, installed new compression water line connection, replace screws in water line housing, replace rear cover.

We replaced the damper, but it didn't fix the problem. We then purchased and replaced the thermistor. (We had previously replaced the defrost thermostat). The refrigerator side is now cooling better, but not enough. The damper doesn't seem to be opening. So we have now unplugged the damper and left the opening between the refrigerato ... Read more r propped open and the refrigerator side is now cool enough. (We had previously tried keeping the damper open before we replaced the thermistor and the refrigerator didn't cool off. So the thermistor did fix something, but the damper doesn't seem to have been the problem).

The replacement glass was a perfect match !!! So pleased...

The parts supplied were made to fit. The hardest part was getting the original broken tabs out of the internal walls of the fridge with out damaging the internal insulation. I punched the center locking pin through completely, dug out the broken tabs and then reached into the hole with a dental pick and pulled out the center pin. The new ... Read more parts fit perfectly and with a plastic mallet, tapped the new locking pin into place.

tighten 2 screws

removed fan unit from frig and installed new motor and then replaced back in frig. No tools needed. need to unplug unit and take apart and put new motor in the unit and then plug back in.

First removed food from the refrigerator door.

Second removed plastic cover plate and metal plate assembly from top of door.

Third lifted door of metal pin on bottom.

Fourth removed broken closer plate and replaced
with new closer plate.

Set door back in place.

We followed the video instructions and it went fairly smooth. After turning off the water at the street we found that the faucet at the wall had it's own "on/off" valve. When finished, we turned on the power and heard the gears going through their revolutions, but no ice was made. We waited 24 hours and still no ice. I removed the cover o ... Read more n the ice maker and adjusted the amount of water to see if that was malfunctioning. Still no ice was created. Waited another 24 hours - nothing. Waited another 24 hours (the site said that sometimes the ice maker would take time to reset itself) - nothing. Then on the fourth day after changing out the triple water valve we heard water being dispensed and later that day it put out the first ice in weeks. Another hour later another batch of ice cubes were ready and deposited into the bin. Since that time, we have had a full bin. I moved the set screw back to it's original setting because a little too much water was being delivered. The cubes weren't separating to individual cubes. That cleared up the problem. This was easily completed - we recommend others do their own work. Just be patient for the system to reset itself.

I had removed the housing that the drum was in and taken the screws out to get to the broken drum. I removed it there was a set of 6 blades that crushed the ice that had to go back on the same order when I removed these I put them on a piece of wire in the order they came off (so I would get them back I the correct order). Then I reversed ... Read more the order and reassembled it in the opposite direction . It was fairly easy to do. I'm a 68 year old disabled woman so if I could do it I'm sure you could to. Good luck. It cost me $14.00 if I had bought the whole assembly it would have been $150.00. So it was well worth my time and effort.
