This genuine Coleman part is used with lanterns. It is a metal handle that is designed to snap into place in pre-drilled holes in the ventilator (the top lid of the lantern) or the metal globe frame, depending on your model. It features a notch at the center so that it can be hung without tipping to either side. This piece is sold individually.

This OEM replacement part is sourced directly from Coleman. It holds the ventilator in place, fitting onto the screw that is a part of the top of the burner assembly. The ventilator is the metal top piece of the lantern, the "hat". This piece is sold individually. Tools are not necessary for this repair, although the old part may be stuck due to age or corrosion.
