extremely easy to replace the burner. I just pulled out the old burner and replaced with new one. The whole process took less than ten minutes.

Simply removed new burner from box and plugged it in! Very pleased with 3 day speedy delivery. Confident my 32 year old cooktop will continue to give many more years of service with any parts needed from PartSelect.

2 screws to remove
disconnect 220 v power
use long nose pliers to transfer 5 female spade terminals
use nut driver to r@r shaft nut
replace panel with 2 screws
Turn on power and test!---OK!

the part arrived in two days. Just had to remove the old one and pop in the new one and it was that easy. I was amazed at how soon the part was delivered and happy to have a working burner again.

Our old Jenn-air cooktop was at least 28 years old.They looked bad.We didn't see the need to buy a whole cooktop when the rest of the stove, fan,etc. still worked great. After finding the correct Y-frame, inches and watts in a surface burner, it was easy to just slide in the slots. Tested, and it was perfect. Now it makes all of the other burners look bad. Thanks. Your site was the only one, that I was sure I had the correct part.

pulled out old burner and pushed in new burner.
No tools needed.

I just pulled the electric element out of the slot and dropped the drip pan in place and slipped the electric element back in place and it was ready to go. It looks almost new. I remove fore screwsfrom the front panel. Then remove two screws to remove the switch and removed the wire plugs then put everything back together again.

Since it was a plug-in burner, only needed to pull it out and put the other one in.

Another thing I would like to say is that I was very well pleased with the service from partselect.com. I was unable to find the burners in my area.
Was very helpful in selecting the part and was very efficient in sending it.

Removed the old broken burner and slid the burner prongs into place. Very EASY to replace!

I've ordered parts from you twice now, and both times the service has been absolutely amazing!!!!!

Now, on to how I did this without fire or electrocution:

Turned off breakers.
Grabbed a beer.
Removed two screws holding in plate.
Removed electrical connectors.
Removed two screws holding switch. ... Read more r />Put new switch in place with screws.
Reattached connectors.
Reseated plate & screws.
Turned on power & tested.
Finished beer and felt very manly.

The hardest part was getting the plate to re-seat.
