very well the part was easy to install and the part was easy to find on the diagram furnished by parts select

Removed water supply hoses and took drain hose out of drain. Unplugged electrical cord. Turned washer over to see and reach pump easily. Flipped clips holding water pump. Moved hose clamps back on inlet and outlet hoses. Wiggled hoses off pump. Placed new pump and flipped clips back in place. Wiggled hoses back onto pump ports and replace ... Read more d clamps to hold. Turned washer upright and reinstalled. Using channel lock pliers to move hose clamps was the hardest part.

I press using the plier the spring retainer to removed the two hose from the defective pump.
I used screw driver to removed the two retainer.I pulled the pump away from the shaft of the motor. Replaced with new pump, align to the motor shaft and return back the two retainer. It is easy and its good to have my parts right on time.

The repair went fine and the U - Tube video was very helpful. However, the putty knife under the front corners to release a spring clip was not accurate to release the console. Our Roper had two philips head screws on each corner of the back of the console that had to be removed to allow the console to slide back and off its clips. The ... However, after measuring I determined that the water pump had enough clearance to be removed without the housing of the machine being removed. So, the repair was even simpler than described.

My husband got the part within 2 days of the order and replaced the leaking pump within a half hour. The repair was very quick and easy for him and your company's prompt delivery prevented my floor from getting wet everytime I did a load of laundry. First I watched the repair video. Then I pulled the power plug and shut the water off. I didn't have all the room available to remove the front and sides of the machine in my narrow hallway so I just slid it away from the wall and leaned it back against the wall and had plenty of room to do the repair lying on my side. $28.00 part and in ... Removed the two spring clamps from hoses; removed hoses from pump. Removed spring clips holding pump to motor. Had to pry pump off of motor shaft due to rust on shaft end. Sandpapered rust off of shaft and then lubed same with oil and new pump slid easily onto motor shaft. Re-snapped spring clips to hold pump onto motor and then rein ... First, we took the pump off and found that it was leaking. Ordered the part on line. The part arrived in four days as scheduled. The small pump was easy to replace with screwdriver and pliars.

1) Disassembled the lid
2) Took the front Panel off (the old water pump was in the bottom left hand corner in plain site).
3) Used flat head screw driver to gentle pry the top and bottom water pump fasterners.
4) Used pliers to remove top hose camp. Note this is where I discovered why everyone says to put the washer on it ... Read more back. Water came rushing out. Luckily no damage to the motor.
5) Used pliers to remove the bottom hose clamp.
6) Put everything back together Total time <30 minutes.

Unfortunately, the water is still not completely draining. I am now looking at the hoses for obstructions. Any other suggestions?

I unplugged the washer, put a towel down, leaned it back and held it up with one hand while undoing the clamps with plyers. Pulled the two clamps off, pulled the pump, put the new pump on, reattached the clamps. Most of this with one hand while the other held the washer at an angle.

plires took off the two hoses , on clip the two snap clips . pulled out the old pump . put the new one in cliped in the snap clips in & hook the hoses back up

Removed the four screws from the control housing. Disconnect wire to machine housing. Remove the two clips connecting the machine housing to the back. Remove washing machine housing. Pump is located right in front. Disconnect hoses, remove and replace pump, reconnect hoses. Replace the machine housing. This was the hardest part if all try ... Read more ing to reinstall the housing.Once you get the machine housing in place correctly, put everything back together. You just saved about $125 in fifteen minutes.

Flip washer on its back, Undo/flip the clips/clamps off the water pump, remove the clamps from the hose and remove hoses from water pump, slide the pump off the direct drive, line up the shaft/drive with the new water pump and slide into position and return the clamps to secure water pump in place and reattach water hoses and clamp to the ... Read more water pump. There should be two hoses going to the water pump, flip washer back upright and run a cycle to make sure the problem has been fixed

The new pump arrived at my door just a few days after it was shipped.

Once I got the water hoses off and the clips holding the pump I had to use a large screwdriver to get the pump off the motor shaft. I then tried putting the new pump on but it wouldn't fit. I noticed that the motor shaft was flaired out (possibly due to r ... Read more ust) so I used a Dremel Tool with a grinding disk to carefully grind down the shaft to what it looked like it was supposed to be. Once that was done the pump easily slipped into place. I attached the pump clamps and hoses and pushed the washer back into place. I ran a quick test and then later a load of laundry. No more leaks!

the hard part was getting the pump off of the rusted centerpeice. i actually had to grab the pump with both hands, put my feet on the rotator and PULL. finally it basically snapped off and rusted peices went flying. after cleaning it the new pump went on rather easily, with the help of a rubber mallet.
