I removed the single screw on each side of the oven by the hinge to remove the hinge cover plate and expose the hinge opening. I lifted off the glass oven door up and out and set it on my work bench. The door is heavy because its glass so make sure the doors on the way to the garage are open to your work bench area. I installed the cover

plates back on so i would not loose the little covers and screws. I removed the screws all around the door and set them in a cup and lifted up the inner part of the door and the hinges are exposed. After removing the screws that hold on the hinges it lifted right out. I cleaned all the glass and set the new hinges in and locked them down with the screws and installed back the inner part of the door to the outer part and returned all the screws back. I then removed they screws on the hinge covers. I did not loose them with 4 kids running around and lifted the door back into the hinge openings and pushed down and it locked in. I then put a little pressure down on the door and removed the little locking pins. I pushed the door all the down and installed the hinge covers back on and it works beautiful. I think the new hinges are better than the set that came with the Jenn-Air wall oven. Thanks Parts Select. Also the new hinges came in 3 days as promised.

Removed 4 screws under the top unit that holds the stove control knobs. Open oven door for better view. Tilt whole unit (width of stove) up and out of top flange. Remove knobs for timer and the two control knobs (that operate the range burners) nearest the clock. Take out the screws by these knobs, 2 per knob and then you can get the

frame that holds clock unit out. Make a drawing of wires to replace on timer unit or as I un plugged one I hooked it up to the new unit. Make sure you have turned off range at your fuse box before working on stove. Works good as new now, I assume it was hit by lighting that also made me replace our garage door opener.

I enlarged the vent access hole from four (4) inches to five (5) inches to accomodate a larger pipe. I then purchased locally a 5" to 4" transition and installed it in the enlarged opening, and sealed the space with expanding foam for a bug-proof air-tight fit. On the inside of the house I attached a short length of 4" pipe to attach th

e dryer vent pipe. On the outside, in the place of the aluminum vent cap, I installed the 5" Jenn-Aire vent cover purchased from PartSelect.com. The new vent is large enough to completely cover the chiseled out masonry area, and the 5" outlet reduces air noise from the dryer, but best of all the new vent provides the high quality look I needed to match the brick of my new home.

Followed the instructions given by Paul from Mickleton, NJ. Very simple, no problem. Using two small blocks of wood to hold spring loaded hinges out while I replaced the door on the hinges was a big help. Thanks for the excellent delivery time. Great service.

Finding part needed and quick shipping were great. Web site so helpful. Initial attempt to remove old part was troublesome because I took out wrong screws thinking I had to remove parts beneath burner. Once I figured it out, it was so easy.

Being a single Mom for almost 16 years I have learned to do everything. When the Jenn-Air oven baking element started on fire I freaked out. It turns out that PartSelect.com has the part as usual. I have ordered before for the same appliance and even though it is 15 years old you always have what I need. I removed the old one (two scr

So easy even I can do it. !!!

My spouse calls me Mr. Breakit--and she's right. I was delighted to read others' accounts that this was easy, but I wasn't sure. When the part arrived, we had 1 hour before company arrived. I took two screws out of the plate (tight--I had to apply a lot of torque), slid the old piece out, attached the new piece, put the screws back in. Vo

Removed the blower assy. Removed the motor. installed the new motor. Reassembled the blower assy. The problem I had was getting the proper clearance for the squirrel cage blower fan to rotate without rubbing on something. I had to make shims for the mounting flanges of the housing to get it to work. Took a lot of head scratching.

Found you cannot spin it by hand to find out if you have spark. You have to put the recoil back on and spin it this way to find out you have spark. You have to generate enough rpm to create spark. Run's fine know.
