Screw drivers
Really easy fix. Remove burner element, then burner basket.
Remove small Phillips screw on the rim of the cooktop opening for the burner. Next lift the cooktop and remove the wires from the plug-in (Long nose pliers are recommended but not necessary).
Next thing to do is examine the insulation on the wires - MAKE SURE IT IS 100 ... Read more % INTACT! DO NOT CONTINUE IF THE WIRE INSULATION IS NOT IN GOOD CONDIITON - EXTREME FIRE HAZARD - CALL A PROFESSIONAL!
Reinstall the new plug-in in reverse order.

Most trainable people can pull out the heating elements and replace the Drip Bowls. The great thing about the ordered drip bowls was that they FIT! Replaced drip pans that the apartment Superintendent had in place with the correct drip pans and now cooking is beautiful again! No more uneven cooking on the stove top.

Removed burner from each one. removed drip bowl. Inserted new bowl. Replaced burner. Excellent help from order people so I got the correct bowl was irreplacable.

Burners would not lay flat

Removed the burner elements, removed and disposed of old drip pans, cleaned the area, relaced with new drip pans and replaced the burner elements. Verified all burners were level - good as the day it was new!

Finding a drip pan that fit so that pots could sit level.

Ordered the drip pan from ParSelect.com. Unplugged element and took out old pan. Placed new pan in and replaced element. For the first time in many years, the part fit.
