This part is available individually but also includes the metal clamp. The premier epoxy coated zinc shut is made of metal and helps to control the flow of the liquid. It might require a wrench to replace this item if it becomes broken. This is an authentic part from Chapin for use in sprayers. The photo shows two ribs at the hose attachment. This is the new replacement part, which has one rib.
