Made of flexible plastic, it measures 2 inches by 4 inches. Oil stains or leaks around the valve cover indicate a problem with the gasket. You may also notice a burning smell or ticking noise from the engine. If the gasket is not replaced, it can lead to severe engine damage and even engine failure. When replacing the gasket, start by turning off your machine and disconnecting the spark plug. Depending on your equipment model and make, you may need to remove components like the air filter or spark plug wires to access the valve cover. Refer to your user manual for guidance. Once you have access to the valve cover, use a wrench or socket to unthread the securing bolts or screws. Then, carefully peel off the old gasket. Please keep in mind that this replacement part is sold individually.
Air Filter (tec. 30727) – Part Number: 30727

Air Filter (tec. 30727)
Part #30727
This paper air cleaner element, also known as an air filter, is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in outdoor power equipment. It has an outer diameter of 4.25 inches and a height of 3 inches. The air filter is responsible for removing dirt and debris from the air before it enters the engine to keep the engine free from contaminants. Over time, it is normal for the paper on the filter to tear or become clogged, thereby restricting airflow, increasing fuel consumption, and damaging the engine. Regularly inspecting and replacing the air filter is critical to maintaining the performance of your engine. To begin this repair, locate the air filter housing near the engine or carburetor and remove the cover. Carefully remove and discard the old filter, making note of its position. Clean the air filter housing and insert a new, clean filter in the correct position. Place the cover back onto the housing and ensure that it is tightly fitted to prevent air leaks.
