I replaced the dual solenoid valve and made sure the ice cube tube was clear of any ice. Sure enough, it works and the nice old neighbor lady is happy.

Ice Maker not getting water

Replaced the intake water valve on the back side of the ref. The dual-valve water valve kit instructions were very good and the new replacement valve fixed the problem and the ice maker is working once again. The extra parts received were not needed as all the existing water lines connected without a problem to the new valve. It took a f

ew hours for the Ref. and the ice maker to recycle and start to work properly. Pleasantly surprised that the parts were available for a 27 yr.old fridge.

Icemaker was not getting water

Easily removed the old solenoids and installed the new one, reconnecting water lines with no problems. Icemaker now working properly.

Evap Fan Motor went bad

This was an easy part to find thanks to its universality. The only difficulty was the electric snap-on connection - had to use the old one and tie the wires to the new motor - that was easy. Hardest part was the new screws to mount to bracket weren't long enough. Had to find one in my screw jar to match threads that was long enough. W
