143340110 Kenmore Range - Instructions

Very easy, hardest part was taking panels out of way. 20 min. to finish. After repair it works like new.About 20 years old.

I went on the web to search for parts, did my screening of companies, and chose Partselect.com
They gave me accurate information, very nice, and double checked the part numbers, and the latest replacement part. I received it in a couple of days, followed the directions, and it's working just fine! I saved a lot of money through Parts ... Read more elect, instead of buying a new refrigerator.

I took the old one out and put the new one in. EASY!

Removed cover change mounting bracket on fan put it back in works great

Unplugged freezer, removed lower shelving, removed panel covering the evaporator motor. Unpluged three wires connected to fan assem and removed. Did not install new wiring that came with kit but installed new motor/fan and reconnected existing wiring. Problem gone!

I basically followed the step-by-step instructions at the parts order website. I removed the shelves and rear panels to access the fan. I noted the color coding on the wires and terminals, removed the two retainer screws, removed the old fan from the mounting bracket, installed the new fan using the rubber anti-vibration mounts, pressed ... Read more -on the fan to the center drive shaft and re-installed the assembly to the back wall. I simply replaced the rear panels and shelves and plugged in the fridge. The only issue I had was the distance needed to press on the fan blade to preclude fan noise, which I found by trial and error, before re-installing the panels.

This was an easy part to find thanks to its universality. The only difficulty was the electric snap-on connection - had to use the old one and tie the wires to the new motor - that was easy. First I watched PartSelect videos that Bing rounded up describing the repair. I saw how to remove an ice maker, the back panel of the freezer, and remove and replace the fan and motor. The order was made on Wednesday, arrived Thursday and installed Friday. I took the time to clean everything while it was apart. The refrigerator is run ... Read more ning like a new one, quietly and colder than before. It felt good to be able to do it my self. My wife was sure the refrigerator was going to stop running, but I proved her wrong.
