First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires.
Went online and Googled for oven element by providing the serial and model number. Partselect popped up. I submitted the order and received and installed the new element within 5 days from start ... Read more to finish. I recommend this website for replacement parts.

This was an easy thing to do. Take the two screws off the back, pull the wires out, pull off the connectors, get the new element, replace the connectors, make a hole in the insulation, fish the wires back behind the insulation, screw the mounting screws and turn it on. Found the model number, called the local parts store, they quoted $60 + $10 shipping because it was a warehouse order or something. So I came hear and got it for $42 + $7 shipping!

Turned off power, unscrewed the element, disconnected the clips from broken element, connected them to the new, screwed in the new element, and it ... Read more was done

Pulled the old one out and installed the new one

Turned off power, first then removed two screws
from bracket holding element. Then removed two
screws from element mounting bracket. I then
disconnected two wires using piers, and one with
a screwdriver. then put the newone in, in reverse.

I took out the old part and we went on line and found everything from your PartSelect and ordered it. The part worked great and we received the part in two days. The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... Once oven was removed from wall not to bad

Removed back panel. Removed the defective solenoid on its bracket. Replaced it with the new door latch solenoid. This was relatively easy. Replaced the back panel. Tested self cleaning feature. Everything worked fine. I have preformed this same repair once before.

I shopped around locally before shopping online. Parts Select provided me with significant time and money savings.

Turn off power. Remove the element. Installed the new element. Turned on the power. Easy... Easy... Easy...

Screwed in light bulb and glass protector

Removed old element and element gasket. Replaced both by alining gasket with element and screwing in retaining screws. Jod completed.
