Kobalt 15g compressor.
* unscrew 6 T-20 to remove compressor housing cover.

* disconnect 2x black wire and 2x wire, and 2x green.

* use hand torch (or lighter) to soften tubing.

034-0174 is a discontinued pressure swirch. Purchased 034-0192 which fit perfectly. Only difference between 0174 and 0192 is the unloader valve. Which I did not need as its my unit is piped separately.

Removed back panel. Removed the defective solenoid on its bracket. Replaced it with the new door latch solenoid. This was relatively easy. Replaced the back panel. Tested self cleaning feature. Everything worked fine. I have preformed this same repair once before.

We took our 30 plus year mixer apart. I removed the old grease. There was some crumbly looking grease in the main housing gear section where the nylon gear is located. It looked like it had flour mixed in it. Not certain. Removed as best possible all old grease and applied 6 oz. of new Benalene grease to all of the gears. Now it do es not make the slight howl sound.
