The Recoil starter pulley spins the flywheel to start the engine. The most common reasons for replacing the starter pulley is if the rope is not recoiling, rewinding, not pulling, hard to pull and the pawls are not engaging. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to install the starter pulley are Torx wrenches, pliers, old starter rope or cord and a spark plug wrench.

The recoil starter engages the flywheel to spin and start the engine. The most common reason for replacing the flywheel is if the engine will not start or runs roughly. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the engine flywheel is a T-25 Torx head screwdriver, crescent wrench, mallet, clutch tool, and an 8 mm socket.
