1106008716 Kenmore Dryer - Instructions

Took 5 seconds, just snapped in the slot, didn't need any tools.

Took top of d then dryer loose then replaced switch actuator put dryer top back in place. Not that hard.

I first noticed that the tab of the door switch snapped off so the safety on/off switch did not work when the door was closed. I temporarily taped the switch closed so I could use the dryer. I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Snapped latch into existing hole in 2 seconds. The pin that goes into latch was still intact. That's it ,real simple. The only problem I will hopefully not have in the future is the the mico-switch which is just hanging in there, the switch works but the lever that extends out from the face, that works with the door is partially broken of ... I am very happy with your service and I received the parts the next day, after I ordered them and I will be buying more parts in the months to come. This time it will be for my Kenmore gas stove and then a Kenmore refrigerator door hinge.

I watched the online video first, which made the removal and installation fast and easy.

I went to internet & got the part & instructions.the shipping cost more than the part. Saved 20.00 & gas.

Pushed the new catch in by hand. Working great.

Got the latch kit, found the correct one, popped it in...dryer works! Thanks....

Having read the instructions and watched the tape, I pried out the remaining catch with a flat screwdriver, read about what the color scheme on the parts wasbout and pushed in the correct part. Voila ! Done in probably two minutes.(By an 82 year old woman!)

Got online with parts select, easily found the parts needed and ordered them. They arrived very quickly. The repair itself took all of 5 minutes and now the dryer door stays shut like it is supposed to. Step 1: remove new latch from bag in which part comes. Step 2: push latch into hole where the other latch was. Step 3: enjoy having a dryer you dont have to hold closed with a folding chair.

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.
