1069658114 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

The rail just snapped into place with a light pressure. I worried it would require manipulation or heavy pressure and I would break the end while installing it.

I followed the directions and it worked.

My husband is an appliance man and he did the work.

removed old and installed new compartment door by hand.

use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

Took out the old, cracked, crisper unit and removed the white trim piece on the handle so that we could re-use it on the new crisper unit (which, in spite of the $90+ price tag did not come with new trim). The whole thing took 3 minutes to do.

I replaced the cracked crisper drawers with the new ones just by sliding them in the bottom of the refrigerator. This did not solve the problem because one of the drawers was smaller than the other one and left a big space. I just slipped the new drawer into place. So easy, even a woman can do it! ( I am female!)

I ordered a new one waited for the new ones to come in once it did I took out the old ones and replaced them with the new ones. It was simple.

The evaporator fan and the condenser fan were operating, but the compressor was not operating. I removed the terminal cover from the compressor and checked continuity on the overload. I found that it was an open. I removed the overload and installed the new one and the refrigerator is now cooling. I also cleaned the condenser coil. I beli ... Removed door and replaced bushing bracket was ok.

I pulled the socket out and unplugged the wires. I replaced the light socket by plugging in the wires and snapping the light socket into place. A very simple fix.
