Removed ice maker from fridge. Removed motor assembly (3) screws on cover, and (2) screws inside. Removed mold (3 screws on bottom) and replaced everything in reverse order. Don not completely remove holding icemaker screws. Unit slips over screws and drops down into place and the use nutdriver to tighten in place. Rest of unit was sound and wasn’t replaced.
After icemaker is installed wait for a while and unit self activated and creates ice cubes.

Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. ordered the part, pulled out the icemaker unit, removed the module, put the new module in, reinstalled the ice maker unit and let it run.

With instructions from PartSelect.com this was an easy fix. I tested the motor's electric as suggested and was satisfied that the Motor Module (WPL W10190935) would correct the problem. Very easy to install

Repair went well,took about five to ten minutes to disconnect the power from the fridge removed the defective switch installed the new one ,reconnected the power,,,and Let there be light and there was light!

Very easy to order from parts select. Took seconds to replace.

I simply removed the old switch by gently pulling down on the old switch with a screwdriver. When it was about half way out I just gently pulled down on the old switch and it popped out... Read more he connectors off so I used pliers. It worked perfectly.. When pulling off the old connectors, make sure you attach the new switch to the same tabs on the new switch... It was very easy to do and took under 5 mins.....The light switch works perfect....P.S. You should unplug the frig while making the connection just in case....Safety first....!!!

inserted a knife between the switch and the plastic interior in order to pop the switch out.
then took off the 2 wires on the old switch put them on the new switch and reinserted the switch into the plastic interior.

The repair story webpage has some problems. I want to rate it "very helpful" but it showed "not helpful". I am pleased with the order service. It was very hard to find the parts on the web. Broken plastic part in motor assembly. Very simple to replace. Sears wanted $322.00!!!

I took a chance and ordered a switch that is next to the top of the door. looked for how to remove it easily done in ten minutes works fine last long time.

I took out the old socket by moving a clip. Reattached the electrical wires, clicked in the socket and that was it.

Did just like the video showed took doors off daughter helped take off doors so easy put door on blanket. My daughter 38 went to town putting it on just watch the corners so easy two days after installation the door seals great. You can do this.
