10696086 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

Just replaced the old piece with the new. Simple and easy.

Replaced broken shelf bracket

Took out the broken part and replaced with the new one..Simple enough and we had been living with a taped one for yrs...

removed retaining bar removed and replaced end cap and reinstalled retaining bar.

First I had to tilt the refrigerator on wood on the supports under the refrigerator, the wheels were easy to get to then I unscrewed the old ones and replaced them with the new better wheels. The old ones where plastic.

Just like the video showed me.It still does not work. Have to turn it off and on to make it start up.I also replaced thermostat in freezer. Does not work.

Well the part and repair was so easy my wife did it and is very proud of herself

Part # had been replaced with another timer. Original timer had 2 wires coming out of it. Replacement only had 1 wire. Instructions showed 2 options for where to place the wire. I chose option 2 and I guess I was right. Installation took less than 15 minutes and refridge is back to normal. (Quiet)

I put the end caps on the shelf bar and popped them into the slots on the refrigerator door. Very easy.

snapped in the new end cap and snapped it into the fridge. I shouldn't have waited so long to order the part. it was cheap and easy to do

taped the door shut ,measured a block of wood and stuck it under the door for support.....unbolted bottom hinge,slipped on hinge bracket and reassembled.no muss no fuss.

She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. Removed bad motor with socket set and pliers then removed the connectors from the old motor and soldered them on the new one. Then installed new motor. Works like new! Problem Solved! Easy fix!
