take out Ice maker tray, remove three screws holding the ice maker, unplug electrical connector. Replace with new Ice maker,Ice started to fill the tray. ENJOY!!

I first unplugged the unit.
Secondly I unscrewed the back panel and removed it.
Third, I unplugged the fan, unscrewed it, removed it, and replaced it with the new fan motor.
I then plugged it to confirm that it worked and then put everything back together.

most of the time spent on repair was removing the food from freezer compartment other than that removal of a couple screws and disconnecting and reconnecting wires not a huge ordeal

Read more The kit came with extra connectors in case they were needed, but they were not in my case and so I pulled off the wires, pushed the old socket out and the new one in. Attaching the wires to the correct pins, I screwed in the light bulb to be sure that the fix was correct and determining that, I replaced the screws that held the panel in place. Voila, I'm a happy camper who found some outdated jars in the back corners of the newly lighted shelves.

Took the old one out and plug the new one in, simply as 1 2 3. Order the part one morning,it was here the next afternoon, the ice maker was fixed in less than a half hour. we will order from you the next time.

this is a snap! 2 screws an a nut to tighten and it works like a charm. the filler tube in my Kenmore refer had broken off in the back. ( really bad location to put this in the beginning) if you push the refer to close to the wall you can break it off easily. remove the water line by loosing the nut and remove the hose from the fill tube ... Read more ( This assumes you have already turned of the water supply or you are standing in a large puddle)remove the 2 screws that hold the filler tube in place. pull out the old filler tube in and slightly upright motion. replace the new fill tube into the same hole and replace the screws. replace the hose and tighten the nut, turn the water back on and check for leaks your done !!

Removed ice maker from fridge. Removed motor assembly (3) screws on cover, and (2) screws inside. Removed mold (3 screws on bottom) and replaced everything in reverse order. Remove bottom of freezer by sliding out the gaskets on each side.

Remove back of freezer. 6 screws.

Remove fan cover. 4 screws.

Remove fan. 3 wires to disconnect. 2 screws to take out.

Install the fan. Connect the 3 wires. Fastened with 2 screws.
Put fan cover back on. 4 screws.

This was a snap. Loosened 3 screws, removed
old ice maker. Made cutout for water chute. Plugged in
wiring harness plug. Installed new ice maker. Tightened 3 screws.

I removed all the shelves and the back shelf hanger. Removed two screws on the back plate.Pulled it out.Removed the screws that hold the fan housing. Pulled it out so I could write down the three wires color and location.Unpluged them.Removed the old fan and installed the new one.and put everthing back together.

Removed the shelves from the freezer and the brackets holding it along with the covers for the light and plate for the ice maker (we don't have one). Installed new fan motor and new grommets but used the old screws because the provided screws were larger. Pushed the new fan on to the motor shaft. Reassembled. Half hour most.

Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. I replaced the old icemaker with a new one but the problem is still occurring in the new one. It only fill with enough water to make about two ice cubes
