1068670310 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

Followed video and had one problen, the metal pipe would not release as shown,so I used a hacksaw between the plastic and metal pipe, removing the metal pipe from inside as the video shows. Good instructions.

Removed door and replaced bushing bracket was ok.

Very easy. Left the front of the refrigerator so it is approx. 4 inches of the floor. (used a two by four. Removed the screws (one for each roller). Removed the rollers and replaced with new rollers. Reinstalled the screws with secures the rollers to the refrigerator. Done

Unplug fridge, unpluged fan motor from plug socket, removed bracket screws, removed fan retainer clip from shaft. removed screws holding fan to bracket

I tipped the refrigerator back and my friend used an adjustable wrench to attach put the new wheel assembies on. I also used a socket wrench to get the old attacheement bolts to thread. I rolled the cleaned appliance in place and adjusted the wheels with the socket set for easy door closing. It went smoothly.

This was really easy to do thanks to comments posted on the Partselect web site and the instructions included in the package. I removed three screws, unplugged the wire harness using a small screw driver to "unlock" the harness, removed the old ice maker assembly from the freezer, and reversed the process with the new assembly. The instruction sheet supplied with the new motor described the steps to take very good. Replaced the rubber grommets for the three motor mounts also. A flashlight or light source was needed or was very helpful.

Took three screws out of the old ice-maker, disconnected the electric pigtail in the freezer, shut the water off, removed two mounting screws on the water valve (back & bottom of fridge), used a wrench to remove the water lines.

VERY EASY - All the parts for various installation were included and the instructions are easy to follow.

Simply removed the old and replaced with the new part.

Pull refrigerator out to access back, unplug unit and remove the 3 .25" screws cut the power leads to motor and install new with easy to understand instructions provided with new motor. Plug refrigerator back in and enjoy your cold beverages once more. EASIEST REPAIR EVER.

Removed the two screws holding the funnel in place...removed the old one and replaced it witht he new tubing...screwed screws back in and the jov was complete. It actually took longer to get it out of the sack than it did to put it together

Pulled out the stud with a wire cutter and replaced it with the exact part you shipped in the kit.

The other 2 parts just slipped on the brackets

Nice thing is now I have extra parts for the other shelf.

I unscrewed the fill tube screws from the back of the fridge, and pulled the tube out.

Then I put the new tube in, screwed the screws back in and reconnected the waterline.

Basicly i bought this kit because I didnt know what part I needed. Our refer already had a icemaker. I pluged in the new ice maker and screwed it into the freezer in the exsisting holes. Presto a full box of ice in 48 hours.

Replaced missing stud.
