Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.
Your web site is one of the best and most helpfull service sites I ever used. Just wish that in the future you will ship parts overseas.

The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!

The parts were reasonably priced, shipped promptly and received in a couple of days. I reviewed a YouTube video before starting that was beneficial. Huge savings over retail repair service. A+ replacement parts house and I would highly recommend.

Mounting bracket was riveted on old motor, mounting bracket holes on new motor were different

removed shims on screws holding motor together, enlarged hole in mounting bracket so motor screws could also go through mounting brackets.

ith, assembled the handle, screwed on the new part and it was as good as new. The old freezer handle was a little bit bent, so it didn't fit snugly. We were able to shim up the back of it so everything looks great. You're bookmarked for our next appliance repair! This repair was done by a 23-year-old new condo owner--her first appliance project!

I replaced the defrost relay folling instructions I read on the internet--and it still didn't work--So I replaced the compressor start relay which was easier than the defrost relay--it worked and the fridg is working good.

By going on line and going to PartsSelect, the check out procedures traced the problem to the start/overload relay. Using a nut driver, I removed the back panel and using their instruction, I installed the overload relay. On the next to the last step on the instruction, the sealer in the kit was already hardened. hot line at PartsSelect and they apologized and sent me another kit to finish the repair. In two days, the new kit came and the repair was complete. The whole experience with PartsSelect was great.

My fridge did not have icemaker add on. The evap fan is in the freezer behind the back panel. Empty the freezer section (into a cooler) and turn the fridge off. o remove fan shroud. Remove old fan and save the mounting arms. Install mounting arms on new fan and install fan. Install shroud, back panel, shelf mounts and shelves. Thats it!

The repair was easy, I removed the cover on the top front of the fresh food compartment. It housed the defrost timer which was easy to identify and replace. Just removed a screw, unplugged the wires and replaced with the new part. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only problem. I also had to replace the defrost element that the timer sen

After the front panel was removed, disconnected the timer and installed new in reverse order. The provided instructions could be more straight forward, I spent more time reading it than the installation itself.

use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

The Light Socket Burned Out.

I pulled the socket out and unplugged the wires. I replaced the light socket by plugging in the wires and snapping the light socket into place. A very simple fix.

I just popped out the old switch with a flat head screwdriver. Removed the connections and then installed new switch by reversing steps. Popped in back in and the light went on.
