After discovering that the water noise was coming from the rear of the refridgerator upon pulling it foward I discivered the connection line had broken. this is a snap! 2 screws an a nut to tighten and it works like a charm. the filler tube in my Kenmore refer had broken off in the back. ( really bad location to put this in the beginning) if you push the refer to close to the wall you can break it off easily. remove the water line by loosing the nut and remove the hose from the fill tube ... Read more ( This assumes you have already turned of the water supply or you are standing in a large puddle)remove the 2 screws that hold the filler tube in place. pull out the old filler tube in and slightly upright motion. replace the new fill tube into the same hole and replace the screws. replace the hose and tighten the nut, turn the water back on and check for leaks your done !!

take out Ice maker tray, remove three screws holding the ice maker, unplug electrical connector. Replace with new Ice maker,Ice started to fill the tray. ENJOY!!

It was not complicated but it took more squeezing and reaching into the narrow space than actually removing three screws and unplugging the electrical harness. But that was all that was necessary, to install, three screws held the unit in place and re-connect the electrical harness. It saved me about $100 in labor and the inconvenience of ... The best part was that I ordered the unit on line on Tuesday eveining and it was at my home by Friday afternoon with no extra shipping charges. Great service!.

First the small screws you sent did not fit.I had to cut and mend the old ones (2) to use them.I did purchase a connecting valve tha I used to connect the part of tubing (my name for it) from old one to new one.I was surprides it is working fine.Not bad for a nurse!

1. Put pieces of wood under door to support it.
2. Unscrew three screws holding door hinge.
3. Disconnect water line.
4. Unscrew screw holding each cam. One to door and one to hinge.
5 Replace cams.
6. Retrieve plate with threaded holes behind frame that the hinge attaches to.
7. Use thin philips screwdriver ... Read more through the hinge bracket, shim, frame and screw plate to align it for the other two screws.
8. Replace all three hinge screws.
9. Connect water line fitting.
10. Remove wood for door support.
11. Check door for smooth movement and strong pressure when closed.

One front roller was flat on one side. Decided to replace all rollers at same time. Placed shims under unit and removed mounting screws for one front and one rear roller. Heated new door gasket in clothes dryer for 10 minutes. Moved all food out of door into refrigerator proper. Removed door from refrigerator and laid flat on living room carpet. Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. Removed door,layed on floor and worked myself around door. I had soaked gasket in hot water before hand but that did not remove wrinkles that well and made gasket stick out some when finished so had to keep adjusting gasket so door would close and still doing it, otherwise got to open freezer first before closing other door until I can ge ... We removed three screws, unplugged the wire and then removed the old ice maker. Installed the new ice maker with the screws, plugged in the wire and shortly after that we had ice! I was nervous about this repair but it was so easy and the part was here in three days.

Exactly as the demo instructed. It was very detail friendly and was very easy to follow.

Repair went well,took about five to ten minutes to disconnect the power from the fridge removed the defective switch installed the new one ,reconnected the power,,,and Let there be light and there was light!

I was able to transfer my old ice maker from my old Roper Refrigerator/Freezer into my new Whirlpool Sidekick Freezer. Everything transferred directly except for the water fill tube. I ordered one on line and simply cut it to the right length, removed the cover plate inside the freezer compartment and the little sticker from the outside. ... By not buying the ice maker with the freezer I saved a hundred bucks or so.
