It actually took me longer to think about the repair than actually doing it. It was three screws, two upper that you just loosen and then one on the bottom that you remove. Pulled the unit out and disconnected the power. Slipped the new unit onto the two upper brackets, after connecting the power cord, tightened the bracket screws, reatta

ched the bottom set screw and I was making ice. Incredibly easy. When I ordered the replacement unit they said it would arrive in 3-5 days, but it only took a day and a half. Great experience all the way through. I'm a customer for life.

Wathced video (VERY helpful)of how to do repair to make sure it was within my capabilities to do. Made sure I had all requested numbers before ordering. Replacement part was an EXACT fit. 15 minutes of work and I saved nearly $150 of estimate by local service company. I am (and will continue to be) a repeat customer. Thanks. Mel

Took off the old handle with Phillips screwdriver on top 2 screws and Allen wrench for the bottom set screw.
Save the 2 old top screws, as they are needed on replacement handle.
Placed new handle in position and used same tools on same screws to attach to door.

Originally I took the module off and found that a small plastic part had broken. Both pieces were still there, so I super glued them together and reassembled the unit. It worked great for a couple months. I realized it needed a more permanent fix, so I found the model # and looked up the part. That was very easy on your website. I or

er and installed it on the new icemaker. The new icemaker fit perfectly. We plugged in the electric wire to the existing power cord at the back of the refrigerator freezer compartment. We placed the new icemaker in the same position as the old, making sure the mounting screw holes were aligned. Plugged refrigerator back in and turned on the water. Works beautifully.

First I removed the (3) screws holding the unit to the side of freezer wall with a nutdriver. Then I disconnect the Harness from the back of the freezer. You have to work the Harness off connector because it was very tight. The Unit came with the correct harness installed so I reconnected the harness to the Freezer and replaced the (3) sc
