Since I really needed to replace the deteriating auger I used the original ice bucket and transferred the new auger assembly into the old ice bucket. 0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
... Read more />3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

Easy

Removed the 4 screws off the old bucket cover and place the cover on new bucket. Just that simply. Can't beat the price!!!

the ice bin was a cinch with the complete part ordered from Partselect.com. Just had to replace the old faceplate onto the new part put the ice bin back in the freezer and voila. Didn't really need to replace the thermostat but did anyway with the defrost timer and then the thing started keeping temperature again. Thanks a bunch! I ju ... I neeeded an ice bucket for a refrigerator that was given to me. I wish if I could have oder the whole part as a whole.So, this is what I did. I order the Auger and Ice Bucket Assembly.Later, I realize when I received the part that I also needed the Cover bucket assembly and the Ice storage door.Now I do not know if when I get the rest o ... Removed the ice from tray and removed screws from face of ice bucket. Reinstalled screws and face on new ice bucket. Inserted new ice bucket in position.
That's it all done.

The part that I needed was no longer availabe on other sites. Found Partselect and they had the solution, only took 4 screws to replace auger-bucket assy now ice dispenser works good as new!!

Ordered new ice bucket w/auger. All I had to do was change out the cover (four screws). Easy repair; works great.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Very simple replacement of complete assembly. I debated replacing individual parts that would have taken considerable effort. Ordered the complete assembly and it was simple to replace.Removal of face plate by removing two Philips screws and reusing them to hold face plate on. Jim

Removed the old ice bucket assembly and dumped the contents. Removed four screws from the face plate and reinstalled it to the new ice bucket kit. Back in business.

Removed ice buscket from freezer, removed 4 screws holding front cover on, set aside old ice bucket, set new ice bucket in place and reinstalled screws, putback in freezer, done. Maybee ten minutes.

Since Parts Select was unable to cross reference to another part I myself checked out all other web sights and did my own cross reference. I found a matching compatable ice bucket number and bought that ice bucket from part select I got it quickly and put it in.

Washed new Ice Bucket assembly with dish soap and warm water, and let dry. Removed (4) small screws holding Ice Bucket Door assemby to my original Ice Bucket assembly. Reinstalled Ice Bucket Door assembly to new Ice Bucket.
