Seal-oil – Part Number: 7-0045
$25.25

Seal-oil
Part #7-0045
This rubber oil seal is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use commonly with snowblowers and a variety of other outdoor power equipment. It can be used to retain gear oil, seal the transmission, and prevent it from leaking out of the engine. The seal keeps the rotating parts adequately lubricated and protects them from friction damage. The seal also prevents dirt and debris from entering and damaging the equipment components. Over time the rubber material may wear down or tear, leading to oil leakage, increased friction, overheating, and damage to the equipment. To replace the seal, first drain the oil and use a seal puller or flat screwdriver to remove the old seal. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure a good fit for the new seal and add a thin layer of oil around the seal. Align the new seal on the mounting surface and use a seal driver or socket to press the seal down until it is secure. Remember to refill your oil before starting your equipment again.
