Turn off the breaker to the stove. Very important because when you move the control panel around after removing it, you can inadvertently touch a hot wire to a grounded metal part on the stove. Read more b off by pulling straight away from the control panel. Remove the switch by unscrewing the two screws. Match the 5 wires from the old switch to the new switch by removing one at a time and paying attention to the labeling of each on both switches. Reassemble in reverse order. Turn breaker back on.

took off back cover and unplugged old unit and installed new unit. oven probe was not the issue. probally control panel malfunction of readings. will continue using oven temperatue gauge inside to get settings for temperture as temp is important for baking.

I could not find one locally so I found what I needed on your website. It arrived in a couple of days and was easy to install. I used the template provided in the kit and drove the screws through the bracket into the wood plate behind the drywall. Pushed the range back in place and that's it. Couldn't get any easier.

Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.

The repair was straight forward and the video was a big help. I removed the oven racks and then used a 1/4" socket with a nut driver to unscrew the bolts at the back. Since this is a really old oven, the connecting wires were a bit difficult to remove from the bake element connectors. They seems kind of stuck, so I took a small, thin ... Read more screw driver and pried up one of the metal clamps of the connecting wire just enough to let me budge the connector to detach the bake element. Had to do that for both sides. Then I just put the new bake element in, attached the wire connectors, made sure the wires and the ends of the bake element were all the way back in their holes, screwed the screws back in, and then put the racks back in. It was really easy, except for the bit of a challenge getting the wire connectors detached from the old bake element connectors. Works now without catching fire. :-D

It would sometimes work, which led me to believe it was a switch. Looked on line and found the mail switch to go on was in the latch. I took it apart, 6 screws, wiggled the switch and it went on. So I found the door switch to be bad. It was very simple to change the switch.

Had to reference original owner's manual for instruction(s) on how to remove oven door. Used several "YouTube" videos to reference oven door design (Oven door glass is actually several layers of glass.) It seemed liked a lot of work doing the research however it sure beat a $350 repair bill. It cost me $90 and about 1 1/2 hours of total time. Probably the easiest repair job that you could encounter. I removed the old gasket from the door frame. Cut the new gasket to length and pushed it into the door frame.

Water leak solved...

After figuring out the problem wasn't the water inlet switch, I replaced the switch assembly for the water level float. Cut off supply water to dishwasher, removed the 2 screws holding switch assembly, and installed new switch. 15 minutes, very easy job.

Broken friction cable on the right hand side. Remove screws that hold dishwasher to cabinet, pull out the dishwasher far enough to get to the friction cable and rear spring. Remove broken cable. Attach new cable to rear spring and connect to door hinge. Push back dishwasher and screw in the two screws that keep the dishwasher attached to ... Read more the cabinet. Very simple.

Unscrewed upper sprayer by hand, screwed new one in by hand. Piece of cake!

Unscrewed the old spray arm and replace with the new spray arm.

The best part was in the ordering process. Having the diagrams with the parts let me see that I was ordering the correct part. Thanks!

From learning the hard way on a previous repair, I opened the circuit breaker for the oven at the circuit box (arc welders use 220 volts also). Then using a nut driver, I removed the two retaining screws and pulled the bake element from the oven (about 3"). Then I removed the spade connectors on both ends of the element and reconnected th ... Read more em to the new element. Then I gently pushed the element back into the rear wall of the oven and replaced the retaining screws. This procedure is extreamly easy and very straight forward, anyone could accomplish this task.

I removed the screws holding the element in place, pulled the element out, and one of the leads came off and dropped into the oven. I had to take the back of the stove off and feed the lead back through the hole into the oven. The spray arm comes off into 3 parts but is really only supposed to be one. I removed the nut from the old assembly and attempted to place the new assembly on by hand. The new nut seemed to be slightly smaller than the original so it would not attach to the dishwasher. Using a kitchen knife, I removed the new nut from the arm unit and ... Read more attached the new arm to the original nut and it went back on easily. The connection of the new arm to the new nut was 3 tabs that needed to be depressed with the knife and was a different conection method than the assembly that kept coming off in the wash cycle. The replacement part had a much better design than the original.
