It allows the compressor in your appliance to easily cycle on and off. This capacitor mounts directly onto the compressor starting relay. If the capacitor is faulty the compressor may get unusually hot and draw excessive amperage. It the compressor overheats, it may fail to run until it cools down again. The compressor may also get noisy from overheating. If this part is totally electrically open, it is defective (often due to overheating) and needs to be replaced. Its purpose is to light up the appliance when the door is open. This is a genuine OEM part. You may need to replace the light bulb if the existing bulb is burnt out or broken. This light bulb is sold individually and is a common wear part, it is recommended to order a spare.

Drier (Service) This drier may also be known as a refrigerator ultra-violet dye drier or a filter drier and is meant to be used with your fridge. This piece is a filter for the refrigerant that moves through the refrigerators sealed-system. The most common reason you will need to replace the filter is if your fridge/freezer is not starting. Terminal Cover This is a terminal cover for the compressor in a refrigerator. This covers the relay and overload switch on the compressor. Once you have gained access to the terminal cover, you will see that the cover is held on by a tension or retaining clip. Simply pop the cover off and replace with the new cover. The cover is made of plastic and is black in color. It measure less than 3 inches long and less than 3 inches wide. This is a genuine replacement part from the original manufacturer.
