The door was crocked and wouldn't shut properly
Everything was easy. I read one of your other reviews and it gave me the confidence to try it myself. First i toke off the cap at the top of the door then the three screws. I lifted the door off so i could be sure the cam was my only problem then put the door back on. That took 5 mins. Then I got on the computer and ordered the parts i needed. Two days later the parts arrived and and i took the door off again. Then put the new cam on, applied a litle vasiline, put the door back on and forgot that i ever had a problem. Thanks for the help. The door gasket is used on vertical freezers. Screws are no longer included with this product. The gasket creates a tight closure around the opening of the door to ensure that outside air does not enter the freezer, causing it to warm up. If you notice that your freezer is not closing properly, is not maintaining the proper temperature, or there is frost build up, it could be due to the breakdown of the door gasket. It is white in color. This is an easy repair that should not take longer than 60 minutes and only requires a nutdriver to fix.

gasket had harden. frost was building up quickly
the gasket peels back to reveal the approx 20 screwsholding gasket and door shelves. removed these. removed old gasket from door panel. new gasket needs to be stretched to get on door panel. align screw holes in door panel with screw holes in gasket. attached back to freezer door. this gasket did not seal securely when closing door. this gasket was installed on a cold day in a garage and may become more flexible as it warms up.

This grille is a manufacturer-approved replacement part used in refrigerators. It is located on the bottom front of the appliance. The grille is a rectangular plastic frame with a series of narrow, closely spaced bars. The grille acts as a protective cover for the condenser coils and other internal components of the refrigerator, to allow proper airflow for cooling. Over time, the grille can become clogged or damaged, causing the condenser coils to overheat and compromising the cooling ability of the fridge. A faulty grille will also result in contaminants entering the internal refrigerator components, increased energy consumption, and compressor failure. Therefore, it is important to replace the grille as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your appliance. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the grille away from the refrigerator. Clean the exposed area and gently press the grille into the mounting slots until it is locked in place.

This bolt measures 1/4 inch in diameter with a thread count of 20 per inch and a length of 5/8 inch. It holds different parts of your kitchen appliance together, such as panels or handles, to ensure structural integrity. If the bolt is rusted or stripped, parts of your appliance will feel wobbly. Loose or missing bolts can cause the parts they are holding to detach. Use a wrench to remove any bolts that you need to replace. Take note that this OEM component is sold individually, so consult your user manual to determine the number of bolts your machine needs. Consider purchasing extra bolts if you are replacing one, as these bolts typically wear out at the same time.
