Engine Trimmer Fuel Return Tube

The fuel return tube or fuel return line, as it is also known, delivers fuel back to the tank from the primer bulb. This is a genuine OEM part from the manufacturer, and it is yellow in color and sold individually. Its overall dimensions are 3x6x90mm. Over time, or due to over-tightening, cracks may appear in your fuel return tube, causing fuel to leak. You will know it is time to replace this part if you notice these symptoms. This is an easy repair, according to our customers, and does not require any special tools. The new part will simply attach to the primer bulb and fuel tank.

Fuel line grommet rotted
This blower is quite old looked on YouTube. Removed grommet with needle nose pliers. Removed tank to install new parts. I had trouble getting return line off carb so planned to reuse it after grommet was in place. Thin was a mistake because the seated grommet compresses the holes. Took unnecessary time to get it through. With my trimmer with all lines in place. Hardest part was to get the grommet to seat even with silicone. Read more...

Gas leaking from tube breather
First I opened the top of the mower to expose the housing cover. Secondly I removed the four housing bolts to remove the housing cover from the mower. Next I removed the tube breather and installed the new tube breather and replaced the housing cover with the four bolts previously removed and closed the top of the mower. I filled the mower with gas to check for leaks which weren't any leaks. I proceeded to mow the lawn with ease. Read more...
