Repalced the door handle with no difficulties and touched up some chipped paint.

The key item in this outing was the Door Balance Link Kit. All others were 5 minute easy repairs. Stretching the spring to get the new ones mounted took some effort. Than a fair amount of fiddling to get the dishwasher back in the right position and level under the old counter. I figure I still came out ahead with having to wait on two visits from the repairman (one for diagnosis and parts ordering, one for install). And now I know a little more about how this thing ticks.
