Tiller Leaf Blower On-off Switch
PartSelect Number PS10040798
Manufacturer Part Number A200195
This manufacturer-approved on/off switch is a control mechanism that allows users to easily turn their outdoor power equipment on and off as needed. It can be found near the control panel or handlebars, within easy reach of the operator. The switch is connected to the ignition coil, and it works by either completing or breaking the circuit between the spark plug and the ignition coil, to either start or stop the engine. If the switch wires are faulty or the switch is damaged, the equipment will either run continuously or fail to start altogether. To remove and replace the off/on switch, first ensure that the equipment is switched off. Disconnect the wires from the faulty switch and pull the switch off the mounting post. Take the new off/on switch and reconnect the corresponding wires. Secure the switch in place by reattaching the appropriate fasteners.
