5 HP Briggs and Stratton chipper shredder - no spark
Removed old sparkless magneto, replaced with new part PS9278124 Magneto, and still no spark. The only conclusion that I can draw, is this magneto is defective,
This magneto armature is an OEM part direct from Briggs & Stratton. Compatible with many small engines, this component provides the needed electrical voltage to the spark plug. This item is sold individually. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench set for the installation.
