Saw Blade Pulley Tire This is a Genuine Milwaukee part It is sold individually Two tires are needed on the Bandsaw. If one tire is worn, it is advisable to replace both at the same time. The purpose of the Blade Pulley Tire is to keep the blade tracking correctly. Over time they will become brittle or stretched out. You then will have the problem of the blade coming off the pulleys or not tracking properly. The tires simply stretch onto the pulleys. No tear down of any parts is needed.

The v-belts link with the motor pulley and the lower wheel pulley. This item is used to allow the motor to drive the wheel and blade. The v-belts are sold in a pair.

When putting the tire on a band saw wheel, it may seem too small but it is not. Band saw tires will typically come approximately 2 or more inches smaller than the tire you're replacing. The old tire stretches over time thus becoming less effective and eventually will break. Also, as tire ages the rubber hardens and allows the blade to slip. You would need to put the new tire in hot/warm water to heat the tire enough to make it pliable enough to stretch. Its preferred to use two people in the stretching process. This part is made out of rubber and is sold individually.
