This is a foam air filter designed for use within various models of outdoor power equipment like trimmers and leaf blowers. This foam filter measures approximately 3-inches in length and fits within the air filter assembly to prevent contaminants from entering your equipment. Air filters commonly build up with dust and dirt over time, and will need to be replaced every so often, and regularly inspecting them for build ups can reduce the amount of extra maintenance that is required. If your air filter is clogged, it will lead to worse performance from your equipment, like difficulty starting or not starting at all, and can even damage the carburetor and engine. To replace the air filter, remove the cover for the air filter housing, and remove and dispose of the old filter. Rub a small amount of oil into the new filter before installing it and securing the air filter cover.

This fuel filter is a genuine OEM part that is compatible with various lawn equipment models and is sold as an individual part. Fuel filters are used to remove dirt and debris from fuel entering the carburetor and engine and are made of metal with a fabric filter material, meaning this filter will eventually clog and need to be replaced. Please note that the fuel filter should be inspected regularly, not solely when it is clogged. The filter will be attached to the fuel line within the fuel tank and if your equipment is having starting, revving, or idling issues, the fuel filter may be the reason why. To replace it, simply use a hook to pull the old filter out from the fuel tank, use pliers to remove any clamps attached to the end of the fuel line, and pull the filter off. Attach the new filter to the fuel line, along with the clamp, and set the filter back into the tank.

This is an air filter for a wide range of trimmers. Air filters are designed to prevent dust, dirt and debris from entering the carburetor and clogging and damaging the engine. This air filter is made of foam and comes as an individual OEM part. If you have noticed poor performance from your trimmer, or notice the air filter is missing or clogged, it needs to be replaced immediately to not only get full functionality from your trimmer, but to avoid damaging any other components. Replacing this air filter is easy and does not require any tools. First, apply a small amount of oil into the air filter so it can catch any and all debris. Then simply disconnect and remove the air filter cover and then replace the air filter inside and reinstall the air filter cover.

Remove air cleaner cover and filter, remove air box base (2 bolts). Simply reverse order to reinstall. Side notes: 1) The air box itself comes complete with a new filter, so no need to order that separately unless you want some spares. They're only $0.86 each anyway, so you might as well while you're at it. 2) Part was perfect in fit and function. 3) The prices here are so ridiculously low, I don't know how they make any money. I'll most definitely be back!

When replacing the filter you can open the package in comes in and put a bit of two cycle oil in the bag and let it absorb into the filter. Then remove it from the bag and squeeze it with a paper towel to remove the excess oil. This will aid the filter in filtering out the unwanted debris.
