The Cylinder and Crankcase Assembly (Engine Block) is a silver, steel, OEM assembly which includes the crankcase, cylinder and valve train. This assembly requires a wrench or socket wrench to install, and can be a challenging repair. This assembly is the main engine component that houses the piston, valves, crankshaft and other internal parts. You will know it is broken if there is a crack in it, or if the internal cylinder walls become scored and scratched, causing running issues with the engine.
