All the igniters keep clicking, does this part have anything to do with that?

Thanks for your question. The spark module is the most common reason for this type of issue to occur. You may wish to test the spark module via a multimeter to see if it has electrical continuity, and replace it if it shows no continuity.

My right front larger range burner clicks but does not ignite. All the other burners work properly.Help!

Hi, my friend has a Maytag gemini dual oven gas range. A number of years ago, water spilled while cooking and there was a small "bang." since then, none of the burners will ignite. Gas flows and they can be lit with a lighter. There no is no spark or click. I'm trying to help her fix it. I ordered a new spark module and put it to no effect the problem remains. Are there other possible fixes? I see some recommendations for the ignition wiring harness. Would this be the way? How would i replace that?

My front right and front left burners do not light by themselves. If i turn the middle or either of the rear burners ti "light" and then turn either of the front two burners to light then they also light. The front two burners have gas flow to the burners. If you remove the burner caps, all five lighters can be seen sparking, but the two front valves will not cause the sparks to happen only the middle and the rear two burners. Thoughts?

NONE of the surface ignitors click. This started after a pot boiled over. I replaced the ignitor module lower down on the back, but nothing changed.

I have gas to stove burners. But i don't get any spark or clicking noise when the knob is turned to lite position. Same for all burners.Tom

The Spark Module PartSelect Number: PS2086548, or the ignition wire harness PartSelect Number: PS12578823. The more likely of the two is the spark module. Double oven all gas range model number kgrs505xss01, serial number d04978712 does not spark. Gas flows to each burner on surface and in ovens when selected. Control panel working normally. Appliance is not locked out. No spark happens. Not a click anywhere. Burners can be lit with match.

The igniters on my gas top range spontaneously started clicking. They will light if i turn them on, but will not stop clicking. I have not cleaned them lately and they do not have anything foreign in the burners. The only way we could stop the clicking is to pull the breaker, leaving me with lighting the burners manually and no oven. Is it likely that the spark module is the answer to my problem? I don't want to buy this pricey part if it is not a fix.

The stove trips when we activate top burners (does not happen with lower stoves). Suspect bad spark module. Can you suggest if this is correct or other part needed. Mike

Cleaning people got water under control knobs and appears to have shorted all pilotless ignition. None of the burners' pilotless ignition function, however all burners will light manually. What failed?
