Compression Spring Specifications
This is an OEM authorized part. It is sold individually. This spring maintains pressure on the N078437 Sleeve, and the rest of the bit holder assembly, to keep the bit in the holder. If this part fails the bit cannot be held in the bit holder. It is commonly used in impact drivers, and is compatible with the impact drivers listed below.

Chuck no longer holds bits
Hello Clarence, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, this is usually caused by an issue with the compression spring, part# N019351, or the other spring, part# N078434. If either one of these springs becomes broken, then the bit will not stay in the chuck. Good luck with your repair.
