Should the evaporator fan stop blowing when the freezer door is open? I can't find doc either way. The switch seems like a double throw. The switch operates the light properly, but the fan keeps blowing no matter how long the door is open. Wondering if one side is supposed to control the fan directly? .. such that if the evap-fan does not stop then one side of the switch is bad?
Hi Angelo, thank you for the question. Yes, the issue could be with the freezer door switch, part number PS11737034. The internal contact point for the fan circuit may have physically fused together or welded shut in the closed position due to a minor electrical arc. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

OUTSIDE DOOR LIGHT DOES NO WORK
