Murray Trimmer Cable Throttle W/stop The throttle control, otherwise known as a throttle cable, controls the speed of your engine. This is an OEM throttle control that is black and silver in color, and made of metal with a rubberized coating. The cable can become broken, stretched, or worn over time, which will no longer allow you to have control over your engine RPMs. This will require a repair, which most of our customers found easy. You will need a screwedriver and wrench set to carry out this repair, which requires attaching the cable to the carburetor and throttle trigger.

Murray Trimmer Cable Cntrl Latching The latching control cable engages and disengages the cutting head of your trimmer. It is sold individually and is manufacturer-certified as an OEM part. It is made of metal with a rubberized coating, and can become stretched, broken, or otherwise damaged over time, which will cause you to lose control of the cutting head.

This replacement throttle cable is an authentic OEM sourced part. It is specially designed for use with handheld gas powered string trimmers. The throttle cable is the linkage between the throttle trigger and the carburetor. It will stop the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. This assembly consists of a metal throttle cable and a plastic housing. Please note, the trigger and screws for the housing are sold separately.
