The indicator light for a burner had burned out.
First we removed the knob used to turn on the burner. Then we unscrewed the surrounding black burner label. We could see where the bulb went but had some difficulty getting into the very small space. I dropped the bulb a few times trying to place it and it landed about six inches below the cooktop. To retrieve the bulb, I removed the r

ubber washer on the metal rod on which the knob sat. With a flashlight, I located the bulb and used a pickle plucker (kitchen tool) to get the bulb. This happened several times. The bulb was finally secured in the white bulb recepticle and then pushed up into the its hole in the cooktop. Then we replaced the black burner label and the knob. Success.
