Hello, Thank you for your question. Looking at this model you will want to check the Lid Latch assembly- PartSelect Number: PS3497627. If that is not operating correctly that will not register the door is closing or not. We hope this helps.

When in washing cycle it doesn’t go to drain and spin. If I unplug the power and wait ten minutes or so and plug it back in and turn knob to drain and spin it would work but now nothing comes on.

Hello Mike, thank you for contacting us. The issue is most probably related to the electronic control board, part number PS3653298. It manages and controls the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining, and spinning. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
I brought the lid latch assembly from here online and put it in and the washer lid latch still flashes. After awhile the washer will fill but wont spin at all, then the water will go out. After that in order for my clothes to spin the water out my clothes i have to put it on drain and spin that's the only time my clothes will spin and that's the only time the lid latch lock when i put it on drain and spin. Can you help me with this problem?

Hello Tracey, Thank you for contacting us. It may be a faulty Drive Motor.
Here is how to test the drive motor in a washing machine: Disconnect the power source from your appliance before beginning as you will be handling electrical components. Remove the cabinet of your washer in order to locate and remove the drive motor. You will need to disconnect the wires attached to the motor in order to remove it from the appliance, do this by pulling on the metal connectors and not the wires. Set your multi-meter to the Rx1 setting. Test for continuity by placing the probes onto the terminals of the motor. You should receive a reading of zero or nearly zero. To test the ground connection, leave one probe on the terminal and place the other on the metal housing of the drive motor. You should not receive any reading from this test. If your readings differ from those described above, you need a replacement drive motor.
