Replacing this component can resolve issues such as noisy operation, slow or failed spinning, poor agitation, and excessive moisture in clothes after a cycle. Part #WP285655
The hose clamp is used to hold the water hose in place which will prevent the hose from leaking water. Sometimes the clamp may lose its ability to latch on, causing a leaking washer. For the installation, you will need a flat head screw driver to replace the clamp and a drill to access the screws to remove the front of the washer. Be careful if you do not have specific clamp pliers as the clamp could fly off. Once the front of the washer has been removed, take a quick look for water damage or any obvious signs of where the leak is coming from. If it is not obvious, run water to test.

Part #350930
Appliance spray paint is a great way to cover up any chips and scratches that have appeared on your appliances. Instead of replacing the part entirely, this is an easy fix. This is also a great way to give a fresh new look to any handles or areas that have discoloring due to wear. Make sure to clean the area before you begin and wear a protective mask for safety. Give the can a good shake and spray a few inches away from the surface. Apply the paint until the area is fully covered as desired. Wait until the paint has dried before using the appliance.

Hello Elijah, thank you for your inquiry. The black plastic piece you broke might be a part of the lid lock assembly, part number PS16543458. How do i reset washer after changing parts like aggitator, drain pump
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Brian, thank you for contacting us. The easiest method for resetting your washing machine is performing a power cycle. If your washer is plugged into an outlet, simply unplug the unit for 5 minutes and then plug the unit back in. If the washer is hard-wired to the power supply, turn the breaker off at the home electrical panel that powers the washer for 5 minutes and then turn the breaker back on. We hope that helps!

Washer wobble during spin cycle.

  • Jesusa from JEFFERSON CTY, MO

Watched a video to get a general idea. Moved washer to garage. Raised lid, supported with s-hook and light chain. Front springs were easy, except no hole for the rod to hang in so used chain and small screwdriver through mounting hole. Back springs were not as easy. Finally removed the back panel to get to the rods. Bingo, much easier an d only took 5 min to remove the back panel. reassemble and she works like a charm. Suggest to find a video reflecting your particular brand and model as all are similar but uniquely different. Easy project though.

Used video provided, but while reinstalling shocks pull the shock absorbers thru holes in washer deck using a stiff wire or a metal coat hanger will also work. This made installation so much easier!
